Running has been a lifelong passion for me. I got my start as a middle school cross country runner and developed a love for longer distances after college. Since then, I have been a consistent runner, racing everything from 5ks to marathons, with trail races and triathlons mixed in along the way.
In 2026, I became certified as a RRCA running coach and have worked with a coach myself since 2020. I also have training and experience in yoga and personal training, which helped shape my approach to coaching.
Beyond physical activity, I have a background in social work and a deep interest in stress, burnout, and well-being. I believe running should enhance your life, not add to your stress, and I strive to help athletes pursue their goals in a way that is sustainable, balanced, and enjoyable.
Coaching Philosophy
As I coach, I strive to bring empathy, knowledge, and active listening to every athlete relationship. I believe running and movement are just one part of a person's life and training should support, rather than compete with, the many responsibilities that people balance each day.
I also believe that understanding why someone runs is just as important as determining how they train. Whether your goal is improving performance, building confidence, supporting your well-being, or simply finding joy in movement, I work to create training plans that align with your unique goals and values.
As a female runner, I have experienced and observed many of the barriers women face in the running community, including concerns about safety, confidence, representation, and access to research that reflects womens' experiences. As a coach, I am committed to helping address these barriers by fostering a supportive community, building strong relationships, and connecting athletes with helpful resources.
